• About the TB Modelling Group

The TB Modelling Group at LSHTM is a multidisciplinary group of mathematical modellers and epidemiologists working on a variety of TB research topics with collaborators around the world. On this site, you will find information about our group and our research projects (current and past), as well as training opportunities, upcoming events and recent publications. If you have any questions, please contact us.

  • Research Projects

Our research covers a wide variety of topics, including vaccines, treatment, drug resistance, latent TB infection, TB-HIV, social determinants, risk groups, immunology and molecular epidemiology. We also support trials and develop policy and planning tools to build capacity in countries around the world.

More information about our research is available here.

  • TIME

TIME is a modelling tool used by national tuberculosis (TB) programmes in low- and middle-income countries to inform TB policy decisions, throughout the cycle of assessing the current situation, planning a response, applying for funds, implementing interventions and evaluating their impact.

More information about TIME, including downloads and documentation, is available here.

The TB Modelling Group at LSHTM uses mathematical and statistical models to better understand the natural history and epidemiology of tuberculosis (TB) and to improve the contribution of TB modelling to policy decisions and implementation.

More information about our group and its members is available here.
